More on an amazing h2c later, but for now: Team: 25 hours, 25 minutes, awesome, better than expected runs by all. Me: 6pm: 6.89 miles @ 5:49 pace. 3am: 5.0 miles @ 5:42 pace. 12pm: 7.74 miles @ 6:11 pace.



Early morning heading to Hood to Coast. We’ll miss you, Jim!



AM: :54 easy w David. Finished in the lake. Nice run.



AM: :38, easy.



AM: 6.89, :49. Went: 8:02, 7:35, 7:31, 7:21, 5:45, 5:41. 6.89 happens to be the exact length of my first leg of Hood to Coast on Friday. PM: 5.0, :37. Last 1.25 @ 6 min pace. 5.0 happens to be the exact length of my second leg of Hood to Coast on Friday. If today’s experiment is any indication, I’m up for a tough weekend. I don’t plan on waking up at 3am to simulate my 3rd leg. Can’t wait for pdx.



8/18: AM: 30, easy. PM: 6.5, :46, with Eric, Craig, and Alan. Nice run. 8/19: PM: :32 w drills after procrastinating all day.



AM: :37. And uh, damn foggy. Cool by the lake though.



The pink dot is Lady Gaga. Lollapalooza reminds me that this is the weekend my achilles troubles began last year. Fingers crossed it don’t happen again… 8/6: am: :42. 6 miles, last two at 6:00 pace. pm: :09 at tempo pace to make it to the new pornographers show on time. 8/7: 12.7, 1:27. Nice run with the club. Tolerating the heat much better these days.



Stormy this morning, and an exhilarating run. The video above is not mine, but I did see lightning hit the Trump Tower, which makes my day, and it’s not even 9:30.

8/3: AM: :45 humid and drizzly.

AM: :49. Really nice run. Probably not even 70 degrees out there when I started.
